Our Langley United Programming is open to players of ALL abilities and experience.

In addition, Langley United Soccer Association is pleased to advise that we will be running a player development Skills Centre as part of the Spring soccer program.

The Skills Centre will be open to all players of all abilities for age groups Under 6 to under 16. All sessions will be instructed by the LUSA certified staff coaches. For more information on the Skills Centre Program click here.

Players will have the choice to sign up for both the full spring program and the Skills Centre Program. Or, players will have the option to sign up for just the spring season, or just the Skill Centre.

The Skills Centre will run once a week (Friday) with NO games, the spring program will run once a week training and once a week games on the weekend for the Under 6 and Under 7 age groups. Twice a-week training and a single game on the weekend for all other age groups. 

*Training, game days and times have been set but are subject to change based on the field allocations received from the Township of Langley.

All players should be prepared to train on any given day of the week and play games on either Saturday or Sunday.

Interlocking with partner clubs in the lower mainland for age groups Under 8 and older will be a possibility through the Cascadia Spring League.

Under 4

Blue

Staff coach overseen with volunteer helpers

Format: 1 training session per week of 30 minutes, training and will be help on Sundays times to be confirmed once we have received the field allocations from the Township of Langley

Under 5

Blue

Staff coach overseen with volunteer helpers

Format: 1 training session per week of 45 minutes, training and will be help on Sundays times to be confirmed once we have received the field allocations from the Township of Langley

 

Under 6

Blue / Yellow

All teams are lead by VOLUNTEER COACHES who are provided the tools and resources overseen by LUSA Technical Staff. Times and locations to be confirmed once we have received the field allocations from the Township of Langley. 

Format: 1 training session & 1 in house game per week (training session outdoors September - October; move to gymnasiums October - end of season) 

 

Under 7

Blue / Yellow

All teams are lead by VOLUNTEER COACHES who are provided the tools and resources overseen by LUSA Technical Staff. Times and locations to be confirmed once we have received the field allocations from the Township of Langley.

Format: 1 training session & 1 in house game per week (training session outdoors September - October; move to gymnasiums October - end of season) 

 

Under 8 to Under 10

White, Blue & Yellow

All teams are lead by VOLUNTEER COACHES who are provided the tools and resources overseen by LUSA Technical Staff. 

Format: 2 training sessions & 1 game per week, training is likely (but not guaranteed) to be held on Monday and Wednesdays for the boys and Tuesday and Thursdays for the girls. Times and locations to be confirmed once we have received the field allocations from the Township of Langley. Disclaimer - all training allocations have been set up based on historical field allocations, if there is a deviation to these allocations LUSA have the right to make changes to the training schedule.

Possible home and away games for all pathways. Away games mean possible travel to parts of the lower mainland like Surrey, Maple Ridge etc.

 

Under 11 to Under 18

Divisional level of play

Staff coach overseen with volunteer coaches coaching teams at all levels, training will be held on Monday and Wednesdays for the boys and Tuesday and Thursdays for the girls. Times and locations to be confirmed once we have received the field allocations from the Township of Langley. Divisional level of play (three tiers) 8 v 8 program Under 10 intake, Under 11 and Under 12

Divisional level of play - (three tiers) Tier 1 and 2 = 11 v 11 program Under 12 intake to Under 18

Divisional level of play - (three tiers) Tier 3 = 8 v 8 program Under 12 intake to Under 18

Format: 2 training sessions & 1 game per week 

All Under 5 players will receive a LUSA game kit, Under 6 to Under 18 players will receive the LUSA 2019 Spring uniform, which will include a jersey, shorts and socks

 

Players and goalkeepers will have the choice to sign up for both the full spring program and the skill centre program. Or they will have the option to sign up for just the spring season, or just the skill centre  program (10 sessions). For more information on the Spring 2020 Skills Centre click here.
