Basic Principles of LTAD / LTPD

Nature versus Nurture – Improvements in human performance come about through either growth and development (nature) or through the training and other environmental influences that are experienced over time (nurture). Optimizing both of these, especially the latter, is crucial to realizing full potential. While most LUYSA players will not attain or aspire to attain a national/international level of performance, it is vitally important to provide the proper environment for forming appropriate behaviors towards lifelong physical activity as well.
