In 2011 Nick signed for Toronto FC playing in the MLS. In his first year (2011) he was awarded having the most assists in the team (8) and scoring 3 goals. In his second year, he played a major role in reaching the semifinal for the CONCACAF Champions League through his assist and winning goal against LA Galaxy (Representing David Beckham in the squad at that time).
