As traveling representatives of Langley United, it is expected that all athletes adhere to a certain code of conduct. As traveling representatives of Langley United, it is expected that all athletes adhere to a certain code of conduct.  This will ensure that each player maintains the appropriate focus towards the reasons for travel: i.e. the athlete is prepared both physically and mentally for all competition while traveling and our club is represented in a positive and professional manner.  Some of the expectations are outlined below.

Travel Preparation

Players are responsible for all equipment needed on the trip.  Players should double check that all items are included in their kit bags

CHECKLIST FOR TRAVEL

  1. Soccer Boots
  2. Shin Pads
  3. Uniform Shorts Socks and JerseyTraining Kit / Warm-up gear (socks, shorts, t-shirt, sweat top)
  4. Sandals/Flip Flops and/or Runners / Athletic shoes (No High Tops) (additional socks)
  5. Casual Clothing for non- soccer events.  This should include pants or shorts, collared or casual shirt (not logo t-shirt), and appropriate footwear (runners ok)
  6. Water Bottles (2 recommended)
  7. MEDICAL CARD OR ID NUMBER & INFO SHEET ON ANY PERTINENT MEDICAL ITEMS (medical alerts etc.) This must be provided to coach or manager.
  8. Personal items – toothbrush, etc…
  9. Travel funds ($)
