Langley United Youth Soccer Association (LUYSA) Spring Programs

We will offer a tiered system approach to provide for players the right environment for full development of necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to reach their potential in the game.  Players will be divided into level appropriate programs classed as competitive and development.

The Competitive program is targeted for players from the top two team levels of each age division. Should a significant number of registrations for competitive program present itself, the final player selection will be based on their performances during the past winter season or at an evaluation.

The Developmental program will be offered to any interested player. This program is designed to keep the avid soccer youth active with soccer skill development and fitness.

Both programs will only move forward with a sufficient number of player registrations.

(Any Developmental player who feels he   has "slipped the net" will be able to request to be re assessed for entry into the Competitive level.)

Registration fee and sign up process for both programs to be advised shortly once our Township confirms the fields for this program.

Developmental Program

Cost $200 per player

(Does not include any additional exhibition games or travel expenses)

Please make a Cheque payable to LUYSA for $200.00 and mail to P.O. Box 26015, Langley BC V3A 8J2., with your child's name clearly written on the cheque.

Dates: week of April 14 to June 25 all Monday & Wednesday Sessions

• U9/10 (1999/98) (2- 1 hr sessions,
  1x midweek training & 1x midweek games day )  5 - 6pm
  U11/12(‘97/’96) (2- 1 hr sessions 2x midweek training) 6 - 730pm
• U13/14(‘95/’94) (2- 1.5 hr sessions, Speed Quickness Agility included) 7 - 830pm
• U15+(’93-’90) (2- 1.5 hr sessions,   Speed Quickness Agility   included)7 - 830pm

Competitive Program

Cost tba BUT approx. $350

Dates:  week of April 14 to July 15 all Tuesday & Thursday sessions

LUYSA is pleased to announce we have entered into a partnership with LFC (Langley Football Club aka Langley Girls Soccer Assoc) under the umbrella of FC Langley Interclub Exhibition Series to play a series of exhibition games during the spring of 2008. The intention is to play quality teams from Victoria, Kamloops, Chilliwack and Coquitlam. There is also the opportunity for tournament play in the USA.

This program will be offered to approx 18-20 boys per age division at the U11 (1997) U12 (1996), U14 (1995/94), U16(1993/92 & U18(1991/90). Players targeted for this program are from the top two teams of each age division. LUYSA players will be given first opportunity then any other interested players outside our association will be welcomed to participate.

This exhibition series will run from April to mid July. Mid week training will be involved with additional exhibition games on some weekends.

• Kit/uniform
• Coaching
