  • Registration will be conducted on a first come-first served basis for U6 – U10, commonly known at the mini divisions.
  • Registration will be conducted on a first come-first served basis for House teams of U11 – U18

  • Full refunds are issued before the first league game played. $25 discount off fees are available to June 15th, early registration is encouraged by all players for the discount.

  • Rep players must be registered no later than May 1st or as soon as placement of the player is determined. No discount will be available to REP players who register after June 15th.

  • Our season runs from September to March with a break in mid December to mid January. Rep teams the season can run into the spring & summer if the team continues to win.

  • In our mini divisions (U6 to U10) LUYSA attempts to place children by their catchment (neighbourhood)school.  This is NOT always possible especially for registrations after June 15th.  LUYSA follows the BC Soccer Association Rules and regulations that state that no team should retain all players from the previous year. Requests for specific teams will be considered but not guaranteed. There will be no consideration given to conflicts with practice nights, times or locations.  Contact by a coach will be made by the 2nd week of September with play beginning mid September and no later than the 3rd Saturday in September.  In general our mini program runs with one practice a week with games scheduled for Saturdays (usually mornings). Practice days are determined by the coach and his/her timetable prevails. Outdoor practices are in place to the 1st week of October, then the teams move indoors to school gyms. U10 will remain outdoors (on gravel all weather fields) throughout the season due to lack of gym availability. All players will be required to have shin guards and soccer boots for outdoor play and runners for indoor practices. Uniforms will be provided with the registration fee.

  • U11 – U18 teams will begin play about the second week of September. All outdoor practices and games. Equipment required Soccer boots and shin guards. Uniforms will be provided with the registration fees.

  • Practice times are determined by age of the player. Younger players get the earlier times and the older players, U16 – U18 will very often not start practice until 830pm.

  • Grass/Turf Surcharge Fee – is a fee charged to a player that receives practice time on lit grass/turf surface. All other outdoor training is on Lit all weather gravel surface at no extra charge to the player.

  • Volunteer Fee - is a $40 fee per family reimbursed upon completion of volunteer time. The parent must apply with the form available online to receive their refund. The Langley United Director of Volunteers will monitor the activities of the volunteers and authorize the refund.
